About the event
Did you know San Francisco's Arbor Day is coming up on March 11? It's a day to celebrate the trees of San Francisco and the people responsible for growing them!
Have you ever wandered around and wondered about the trees in San Francisco? How many trees are on our streets? Who plants them? Who waters and cares for them? How are they chosen? What is the most common tree in SF? What is the vision of the City's tree leaders?
Come learn more about the trees of San Francisco in a "tree town hall" with the heads of two organizations that plant and care for the public trees in our City — Brian Wiedenmeier of Friends of the Urban Forest and Carla Short of San Francisco Public Works.
